All I can say is REALLY!!!!    Really - we needed another "reality" show about an MC

Here is what the shows website says about the club...

Meet the Fugawis: an upstate New York motorcycle club whose members live life with a freedom and fraternity that many guys can only dream of. In an age when everyone is seeking to strike the perfect work-life balance, this group of bikers has somehow figured it out. Members of the club include expert builders, plumbers, electricians and general contractors, so when they’re not out in the wind on the open road they’re tackling construction projects of all shapes and sizes to earn a living.

I know, I should know better... but I am going to ask anyway - anyone in the area every heard of or seen the Fugawis MC

I had only seen pictures of them at local rallies, etc. I haven't come across any passing through NJ. There is also a chapter out west, but they spell it differently.....can't remember how though.

They spell it "Fugarwe", and from what I understand they have been around since the mid 50's. http://www.fugarwetribe.com/history.html

Here is the show for those who haven't seen it... http://www.history.com/shows/were-the-fugawis . Makes for a good Monday morning chuckle.

Having been raised in upstate N.Y. for the better part of my life I was familiar with the club name a few decades back. I never came across them anywhere. I'm reasonably sure they are only in the Hudson Valley area and have been for quite some time. They've made no impact on the mc community, at least not until now. And I'm also familiar with the fugarwe whom I have met on the road.

Hell, there could be thousands of clubs in this country that we've never heard of, heard of but never have seen, seen but never seen again. The Booze Fighters have been around a half century but I've never seen their patch anywhere but one time of the many times I've been in Sturgis.

Never seen them up in Mass or NH. I've see the first two episodes and it may need to change from the history channel to the food channel. I see more food then bikes. But entertainment is entertainment.

Fugarwe Tribe MC is an old club. Chicago is an active chapter. Alabama is another chapter. There are more.

Another show written for people who don't ride!! I wish they would come out with a show about NFL cheerleaders who ride with their clubs in uniform or better yet topless!
