The Ride After The Storm

  • June 7, 2013 11:51 PM PDT
Well, hope to be off in a bit to take in some of God's country today. There is nothing like a ride after stormy weather. The air is clear, the smells are fresh, the sun breaks forth with the rays of hope inviting us to see some of the wonderful sights.

I love the back roads, small towns, and meeting some some wonderful people. It is always so nice to meet other bikers along the way. If you happen to be on a back road or small town in these parts keep an eye out for the Geeze. I'll be the old guy on "Big Bird" (yellow goldwing) with a big grin on his face.

I do live in Mississippi but I most always seem to migrate toward the east. Alabama has some beautiful back roads, small towns and communities, and pretty signts to see.

Well "Big Bird" just started singing. TIme to take flight.

Dang. Another Summer without a ride. I thought I was close. Close enough to taste it.
    And then...
the inevitable let-down. That's what I get for counting on a man, and not GOD.

I am truly happy for anyone who gets to ride, enjoy the wind, and the sights. The FREEDOM, the LIFE.
I have everything else I need. I guess this counts as a WANT.
And in the grand scheme, needs...trump wants.

Oh well. It'll happen when it's supposed to, and not one minute before.
No matter how much, I may WANT it to.

    Ride Free ALL YA'LL!!!
