A Poem that I found called "Ride On"

If I die while on a motorcycle ride

It won’t be in vain that I have died

To ride my bike is to be free

The power, the wind, the freedom is key

It’s always a thrill to ride my bike

And if I die it’ll be doing what I like

I don’t ride to die but I ride to live and be me

It’s who I am independent and free

So when you see a biker riding the highway

Wave and know he’s done it his own “my way”

    Don’t worry that he’s taking a chance

Just know that he is dancing to his own dance

If I die while on a motorcycle ride

It won’t be in vain that I have died

For I have experienced joy unspeakable and full of glory

To ride like the wind and write my own story

The rumble of the exhaust the power in the throttle

It’s the ride I enjoy and fear I don’t coddle

Oh the joy of the open road Oh the thrill too

At least I’m doing what I want to do

And if I die while on a motorcycle ride

It definitely won’t be in vain that I have died.

    Ride on!

Very good description and statement that defines why we ride these things year after year after year.
