trailers

First I am only talkiing about pulling  300 pounds plus extra person. Do you think a 2006 night train Softail can pull a trailer without hurting the bike? Second I was thinking of the yakima trailer made for bikes and kayaks. The weight is great 180 but it is wider then I've ever seen behind a motorcycle. Any feed back would be great... Thanks

Your bike will pull the trailer with no problem - provided you don't fill it with bricks!

Here is an old topic on the subject with some input from those pulling trailers... http://www.cyclefish.com/forum/Biker-Chat/Bikers039-Topics/Towing-a-Trailer-Behind-Your-Motorcycle-3733-1.html

One of my long the riding partners pulled a trailer for about 20+ years with his 1977 Super Glide.
    Your Softail will do fine.

my mate tows a trailker with a fatty...his only complaint is the extra fuel he uses towing it..means you can carry more creature comforts.
