I have a 2012 triglide,engine light came on ,battery symbol, and received recall notice same day (7-30 12) local harley dealer is busy ,got to wait 7 days for replacement! puts the stop on sturgis run for me, so another year to go

I didn't receive a recall notice from HD. I received a notice of an "upgrade" to the voltage regulator. What I got was NOT a safety issue and therefore is not considered a recall. It was a "suggestion" to upgrade.

Already changed mine. Wild West Harley in Lubbock Tx had a crate full of new ones. Changed it while I waited. Good people there!
