Riding in this A.M. ]0300HRS] and the headlight goes out!  As I mumble WTF and downshift it clicks back on.  Tap and turn on and off the switch several times but can't get it to do it again.  Guess I'll be checking connections when I get home from work.  Amazing how quick your eyes get adjusted to the dark!

Not a good experience. It does sound like a wiring harness or terminal connection loose. Back in the day one could run that sort of thing down quickly, but todays bikes are like the cars when it comes to DIY.

Yep sounds like a loose ground or positive connection.  If that is not it it may be grounding out from a frayed wire.  (I did the same thing when I mounted my fog lights on my bike when I forgot to put cover on the connections, brain fart lol).
