Mount Pleasant, SC – Brukus Motorcycle Parts®, LLC recently released their SaddlebagSecure™ for Harley-Davidson Touring Bikes. With thefts on the rise for expensive saddlebags, this kit -- designed to prevent a thief from popping off the saddlebags with a screwdriver or the bags from flying off while traveling down the road -- replaces the current quick-release attachement system for saddlebags that is standard for Harley Touring models of motorcycles.
SaddlebagSecure™ is designed for both fiberglass and hard leather saddlebags – actually any saddlebag that fits on the Harley Baggers and that includes all bikes that Harley makes in the touring class. It completely replaces the quick release system which has been standard for years.
Utilizing all stainless steel and automotive-finished spring steel components with tamper-proof stainless security screws and a security tool, the saddlebags are now fully secured to the bike against theft. And while still being able to be removed in a minute or two, this system prevents the possibility of the quick release twist-pins breaking and your saddlebags flying off while traveling down the road. Both thefts and bags falling off while traveling happen all too often, with saddlebag thefts definitely on the rise.
