The thing i found most enjoyable this time around, was that when i was back here in 2010, I wasn' that comfortable riding on the right side of the pavement. This time however I only made a few blunders. So i have really enjoyed my time here his time around. Of course it helps when you have guides too. It's really great not having to worry about maps....just follow the leader...Being an Australian though does have its draw backs when it comes to riding.
I don't go big on hand signals..like when people are changing lanes the stick up the hands on weird angles....usually i look to the right and try to work out what i have missed....then realise oh yeah thats the right hand lane change sig..like why have indicators on ya bike if ya gunna hand signal? But thats just me okay...I don't wanna get into a big debate on this issue with anyone.
I can tell anyone who wants to listen though, the bloody bike i bought got all messed up, a couple of times..Lake of the Ozarks..the hydraulic clutch packed it in...luckily i was with a couple of sharp toolmen and we bled it in the car park..of a local gas station......worked great after that.
Next time I'm going to save up and buy a HD...reliabilty for one thing...and better gas mileage, the ol vulcan started to use so much gas one time i managed 65 miles outa a tank....No crap 65 miles...jetted wrong..and couldn't find standard jets to fit.
Speaking of breakdown and stuff, I'd thank to thanks the staff at Clarksberg Nippon motor cycles...for the tire they fitted while i waited..$191 for a kenda tire...man I racked up so many miles on it..and it hardly looks worn...so if your thinking tires for your cruiser check em out....very good grip and less expensive than a dunlop...
