Spring has Sprung Riding time !!

    Seems like spring has sprung early out here ! The weather has turned pleasantly mild n the bitter cold has passed,the acacia tree's are blooming all over the place !! Crazy for this time of year , yet not the first time I have seen it out here .

    Just changed the oil yesterday & pulled the plugs,everything looked decent. It still gives me a rush when I climb into the saddle after all these years,one I look forward to maybe too much? Still in spite of my selfish misgivings I ride for the sheer joy of it , yet also I ride everywhere,grocerys,friends,work when I got it,and any other place imaginable.My non riding friends ask me do I really ride everywhere on it? yep I do,yeah I know its dangerous as heck,yet I figured out a long time ago,life is what we make of it,for better or worse motorcycles have always had a place in my heart & I dont see tht love for it ever going away,even if broken in body or mind,its in the soul. Does tht make me better than others? nope not ever,yet I wouldnt trade my riding experiences or my riding buddys for a mountain of treasure : )

  • LCStrat I think you just accurately described why we ride these things. Sure it's not as safe as a car or truck, but we are going to do it anyway.

  • blurplebuzz Thanks for the replies,I may have spoke too soon LOL I rode ovr to my friends house across the bay and got caught in the wet stuff for about 20 miles before it broke,of course not till I was good n soakedand riding the bridge wasnt a picnic !!!
