Do you know what to check for on an UNSAFE moto helmet? Here are the first spots to check and ask about: Is the lining appx. 1 inch thick & made of Polystyrene Foam? Are the Chin Straps & Rivets sturdy? Does it weigh more than one pound (DOT approved helmets usually weigh 3 lbs or more)? Lastly, DOT standards don't allow anything to extend further than two-tenths
